Planting Instructions: These clump forming perennials are some of the showiest spring flowers with up to 3’ flowers of blazing red/orange/yellow florets. Plant crown of plant 2-3” deep in well draining soil in full sun to light shade. Hardy down to zone 5, Red Hot Poker plants multiply quickly and may grow to a 3’ spread. They require an ample supply of moisture during their spring flowering season. Fertilize moderately. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Store in peat moss until planting.
