Planting Instructions:  These perennial rhizomous tubers produce magnificient blue umbels perched on top of 24 to 36” stems.  Plant top of tuber 2-3” deep in well draining soil in full sun to partial shade.  Tubers can be planted anytime of the year, and once established bloom early summer to fall (may take 2 years to establish & bloom).  In well draining soil, tubers are hardy to zone 7 if unprotected and may be hardy to zone 6 if well protected by shelter and mulch.  In colder zones, use as a patio plant or lift and store for winter.  Fertilize moderately.  Tubers multiply quickly.  Store in peat moss until planting.
